Two minutes of Veyr

The Game

An idle RPG that doesn't hold your hand

The ash forgets nothing.

Ash has fallen over Veyr for as long as the oldest chronicles reach. It settles on rooftops, on streets, on the names of the dead — and it forgets nothing. Through the city gates you arrive: a stranger they call the Wanderer. You don't remember why you came. The city saw you coming long before you found its gates.

It keeps running — but it hands you nothing.

The Ash Remembers keeps running while you do something else: offline, in the background, overnight. But standing against the strongest foes takes better gear and a stocked pantry. The best thing you will ever wear is not bought — you forge it yourself, from what you wrested out of the ash.

A narrator walks with you.

The prologue, the five world bosses, the six weekly titans: their stories aren't just written down — a narrator reads them to you, in English and German, while the music steps back. Add a chronicle in 13 chapters and voices from the alleys that change with the hour and the calendar.

What awaits you

21 skills, each to level 100

Mining, smithing, cooking, alchemy, thieving, carving, calling — plus five combat disciplines. Every mastery earns its own title.

Keeps running when you leave

Offline, in the background, overnight: your trades keep working, your fights go on. Come back and see what the ash has kept.

Dungeons with three depths

Five dungeons, 25 bosses, each with its own story and best time. Rebirth unlocks the heroic depth — and a third, darkest one below it.

The Ashfall

When your road ends, you let go — and begin again, stronger. The Ashfall is not a reset but a release: the city remembers every one of your runs.

A narrator, two languages

34 narrated stories in English and German, 15 original music tracks, over 1,300 illustrations — ash cards, letters and messages in bottles no one came for.

The climb is deliberately hard

No shortcuts, no purchases. The strongest weapons drop as parts from fixed bosses — and you forge them yourself. Relics, ash seals, garments: all earned in play.

A Living World

Veyr never stands still

Small windows into the ash — every scene and place is from the game.

It keeps working while you're away Your home in the ash never rests — offline, overnight
The ember tree When your road ends, you let go — and begin stronger
How far will you go? One wanderer, one lantern — and a colossus on the horizon
The world bosses Five colossi wait at the edge of the ash
Your companions 27 companions — feed them, pet them, walk together
The fight 80 foes, each with its own weakness and story
The dungeons Five halls, 25 bosses, three depths
