Glow by rarity
Hotfix 1.7.2.1: display, side slot and comfort
Displaysince 1.7.2.1
What it is
Items glow by rarity. From Rare up the frame gets a soft glow that grows with the rarity; in the journal, loot lines from Epic up are tinted. The favourite gold frame no longer covers the rarity. The settings have “Rarity glow”: Off, Normal (default) and Strong (Legendary, Apex and Mythic breathe softly, not in calm mode).
The three settings
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Off | No glow, everything as before. |
| Normal (Default) | From Rare up the frame gets a soft glow that grows with the rarity; in the journal, loot lines from Epic up are tinted. |
| Strong | Like Normal, and Legendary, Apex and Mythic also breathe softly (not in calm mode). |
In the settings under “Rarity glow”. Display only, no effect on values.
Where it glows
- in the bag, the chest, the market and the comparison
- in the journal: loot lines tinted from Epic up
- favourites: the gold frame no longer covers the rarity
Side slot after the Ash Turning
The crafting side slot stayed locked after every Ash Turning until total level 150 was reached again. Whoever has turned before keeps it now; the depth relics stay visible too.

- The chest filters by gem colour.
- A growing plot can be cleared.
- After the Hoard Warden a button leads back to the previous foe.
- A tooltip can be held with middle click or Alt+click (Esc releases it).
- The colour scheme is now also stored in the save.
